It is the most important winter resort in the Czech Republic. Every year he co-organizes several important world sporting events. In the winter season, the entire complex, which consists of several centers (Svatý Petr - Hromovka, Medvědín, Horní Mísečky, Labská, LV Davidovka, Horal and Krakonoš lifts) will be visited by around 700,000 clients.
It was created this year on the route of the original Labská ski lift. The route of the new cable car is extended by 300 m compared to the original, so it leads to the cross-country track to Horní Mísečky. The downhill run was also extended and widened.
It is the most important center of sports events in Špindlerův Mlýn.
In the winter season, there are 3 cable cars and five ski lifts in operation directly in the complex. The downhill runs are of the highest quality in the entire Czech Republic in terms of the length of the elevation and modifications. The snow park, including the "U" ramp, is also richly visited. Within the entire Špindlerův Mlýn (5 cable cars and 11 lifts) a single fare applies. Svatý Petr is connected to the Medvědín complex by a regular SKI BUS line. Visitors to Špindlerův Mlýn will find plenty of restaurants, ski and snowboard schools, evening leisure - swimming pools, bowling alleys, toboggan and toboggan run, discos and last but not least the daily possibility of night skiing on the Hromovka downhill track built in 2003, where a new, faster four-seater cable car was built.
It is connected by cable car to the Horní Mísečky area and is an increasingly popular place for skiers who like relaxing skiing in the sun. There is a very good black and red downhill track, which is designed primarily for sports skiing. For beginners and family holidays with children, the Horní Mísečky area is very suitable, offering four ski lifts, always well-groomed slopes and a snow park for snowboarders. Cross-country trails in Horní Mísečky are a frequently sought-after place for cross-country skiing enthusiasts, who will find daily well-maintained cross-country trails, which are the starting point for ridge hikes.
From the Savoy Hotel follow the blue sign along the Elbe to the lower station of the cable car to Medvědín, then to the confluence of the Elbe and Bílý Labem and to the U Dívčí Lávky crossroads. Follow the blue sign to the Bílý Labe valley to the U Bílého Labe hut. From there follow the yellow sign, the so-called Dřevařská path up through the forest and along the contour line to Špindlerův Mlýn. A total of about 11 km - a very comfortable hike.
Following the red-marked Stará Bucharova cesta, you climb along the edge of the forest, then steeply through the forest and finally along the path to the saddle between Kozí hřbety and Luční hora. Further to the lookout with a panoramic view of almost the entire Giant Mountains (1,422 m). Back along the yellow Judeich road to Sv. Peter and to Špindlerův Mlýn. A total of 7 km.
By bus from Špindlerův Mlýn to Špindlerův bouda. Red marked path to Petr's hut, then follow the blue sign to Martin's hut. Back through Medvědí bouda to the Elbe valley (green sign) and around the Myslivna restaurant to Špindlerův Mlýn.
From Sv. Petra, following the red mark, you gradually ascend along the edge of the forest, then up a steep ascent on the slopes of Kozí hřbety and over Luční bouda, Úpská rašelina to Slezská bouda. From there you ascend a steep, red-marked stony path to the top of Sněžka. Then by cable car to Pec by Mr. Sněžka. From here it is possible to take a bus to Špindlerův Mlýn. If you continue, you will follow the blue sign to the Blue Stream, the yellow sign to the Blue Mine and Richter's huts (red sign). Following the green marked path through Výrovka, you will reach Dlouhý dol, then Svatý Petr and Špindlerův Mlýn. A total of 22 km.
Take the cable car to Medvědín and then follow the yellow sign, then follow the red sign over Šmíd's viewpoint to Vrbatova bouda. Around the monument to Hanč and Vrbata to Labská bouda. (From here it is possible to continue through the Elbe Mine to Špindlerův Mlýn.) Further to the source of the Elbe (red and green mark). From there follow the yellow sign to the ridge and then follow the red sign around the Sněžné jamy to Špindlerův Mlýn. A total of about 18 km.
From Špindlerův Mlýn follow the red sign to Sv. Petra. Through the forest to Kozí hřbety, across Bílá louka to Luční bouda. On the way back along the red marked path and further along the blue one to the Bílý Labe valley, K Dívčí Lávkám and Špindlerův Mlýn. Full day hike, marked height differences. A total of about 22 km.
Blue hiking trail: Dívčí lávky - Labská bouda 780 - 1300 m above sea level, length 7 km, elevation gain 520 m.
The path through the Labský dol was established in 1879 by Count Harach and we could also call it the path to the history of nature protection in the Krkonoše Mountains or the "path of glaciers". We will be accompanied by the largest Czech river, the Elbe, traces of glaciers and memories of the first Krkonoše conservationists.
A mountain resort with a number of typical timbered Krkonoše cottages, a chapel, and a unique technical monument, which is the cable car to Sněžka.
Industrial and historic city. The most important monuments include Krakonoš Square with the neo-Gothic town hall, Krakonoš Fountain, burgher houses with arches and the Holy Trinity Column. The dominant feature of the town is the Baroque Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
Sandstone rock towns and many nice rock formations and lakes, 1700 rock towers - a paradise for climbers, rock castle Strmen. The tour of both rock towns takes at least 6 hours.
Kuks State CastleFormer spa complex from the beginning of the 18th century founded by Count F. A. Spork. The hospital with the original pharmacy (the second oldest in Europe) and the church with the tomb of Šporků have been preserved. Two rows of Baroque sculptures by Matyáš Braun are unique - allegorical sculptures of Virtue and Vice.
One of the best-preserved castles with a rhombus tower, founded in the 14th century, the Šelmberk and Biberštejn palaces, Renaissance cuisine, historical weapons, the romantic Plakánek valley, the 300-year-old Semtín lime tree - today only a torso.
